After 6 months of use, it stopped working for me. I thought maybe they changed the ingrediants but not sure. Very disappointed because it gave me great IBS relief. Not sure what to do now.
I'm not impressed in the least, and unfortunately, I won't even finish the box I purchased. I switched from another brand of probiotic to Digestive Advantage, and I noticed an increase in my IBS symptoms within a few days. I increased my dose of Digestive Advantage to 2 pills per day, and I still had increased IBS complications. Maybe this brand works well for others, but it did not work for me. I've had better luck with Activia yogurt and Align probiotics.
It used to be that if I went out to dinner, I would feel stuffed and bloated for two days or more, but now, I wake up every morning feeling great. I've been taking probiotics for over two years, and LOVED how they made me feel, but my mom has been raving about these for months, so I decided to give it a try. I have suffered from IBS forever, and the probiotics help, but I think these are better. I'm really happy with these, and I won't have to worry about running out, because Amazon offers the auto-ship. You hit a home run with this one, Amazon.
I've suffered from IBS (diarrhea form)from the age of 16 - now at the age of 40, the majority of my life has been spent either running to or spotting out the nearest toilet. Other than that - I've eaten every forbidden food - even my beloved mango that I had to give up - and everything is smooth sailing. I would quiet any doctor that had any advice that I "surely hadn't tried yet" by asking them if and how many times they'd soiled themselves out in public.
I've avoided every food in the book (anything fried, no fast food, certain fruits, cereals, etc) that I've supposed to and nothing worked, except for not eating at all (I'd literally fast for at least two days prior to any airplane trip anywhere and this was how I lost 20 pounds while on a trip to Europe) but what kind of life is this to live.I tried this stuff immediately when I heard about it - didn't even have any hope of it working - I would literally go through at least 8 - 10 Kaopectate pills a day, which never even helped at all. Can't hear you.To the point - this stuff truly works. I've had countless of times I've had to miss out or cancel on picnics, hikes, walking on the beach etc due to fear of not being able to make it to the nearest toilet.
Gee - now what's your answer. I had special mixes made up for me at pharmacies, sludge that looked like cement - that never helped. Even when I lived on oatmeal, bananas, everything that they tell you to eat if you have a "tender tummy" - mine was a raging volcano since my teens.
Have been using two pills a day for two months now and only had maybe two episodes of diarrhea - with the stomach flu. MIRACULOUS.
I am very price oriented, and I checked out Amazon.com, to compare the price with what I was paying at the drug stores and food markets.Amazon.com was cheaper. Next I checked the shipping fees because I wouldn't be saving too much if I had to pay them but again Amazon had no shipping fees on this product.Amazon.com gets a 10 for service and cheaper prices.
